- NEW YORK MODERN in reverse…Organic Mutant Architecture There once was a place of monumental cities with towers that swept American culture… people were swept away and consumed by the machines and buildings built by visionaries and is now self-transforming or mutating into a fantastic Organic Mutant Architecture Metropolis; it draws them into the depths. ...NYC for the rest of us...is a crumbling city...inhabitants of this city believe that this is the center of the world...it's dark, it's decaying...mice, rats, big rats, roaches emerge from everywhere as we hear the roar of the engines, jackhammers...speeding cars, taxis, bikes, bikers, trucks, vans, ambulances, police, pedestrians, amphibians, arachnids, etc...
